Dr. Alex Riniker
Co Founder & Doctor of Chiropractic
While attending Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and achieved Academic All-American honors as a member of the wrestling team. My passion for human movement, performance, and health led me to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA—the birthplace of chiropractic and the most prestigious institution in the profession—where I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic.
With extensive postgraduate training in pediatrics and prenatal chiropractic care, I specialize in providing safe, effective care for expectant mothers and children, helping families experience optimal health from the very beginning. Additionally, I have completed over 200 hours of advanced training in the Gonstead system, the most precise and scientific full-spine chiropractic technique available. This expertise allows me to deliver highly specific adjustments tailored to each patient’s needs, helping individuals overcome pain, improve function, and achieve long-term wellness.
As a former athlete, I have a deep understanding of sports performance and injury prevention.
I enjoy working with athletes and active individuals—from youth sports participants to weekend warriors and professionals—helping them recover, prevent injuries, and perform at their highest level.
Beyond the office, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife, Dr. Courtney, and our four amazing children—Raelynne, Russell, Roylee, and Ruth. Together, we are passionate about serving Marion and the surrounding communities, empowering individuals and families to experience their full health potential through chiropractic care and holistic wellness.

Dr. Alex and I grew up in Winthrop, IA, attending East Buchanan Community Schools together. We started dating in 2004, married in 2014, and have been blessed with four wonderful children—Raelynne (2016), Russell (2017), Roylee (2019), and Ruth (2021).
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2011, followed by my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2015. After three years as a pharmacist with Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids, I transitioned to Revive Family Chiropractic full-time in 2018.
Joining Revive has been one of the greatest blessings for our family. I’m passionate about educating our community and empowering individuals to take charge of their health. As more patients sought natural, drug-free solutions, I expanded our services to include Functional Medicine and health coaching. With my background in pharmacy and deep knowledge of both conventional and natural health, I bridge the gap—helping patients navigate medications while addressing root causes through lifestyle, nutrition, and personalized care.
I’ve personally experienced the power of holistic wellness—overcoming psoriasis, allergies, mood imbalances, and digestive issues through regular chiropractic care and natural healing. Now, I’m committed to guiding others on their journey to optimal health. I look forward to helping you and your family live vibrantly—free from unnecessary medications and chronic health struggles!
Dr. Brett Bovee, Doctor of Chiropractic
I was born and raised in Davenport, IA, home to the fountainhead of chiropractic—Palmer College of Chiropractic. Growing up in a chiropractic family, I was instilled with the belief that the body is a self-healing mechanism when given the right conditions. My passion for helping others through natural, drug-free healthcare led me to Palmer College, where I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating with honors in 2017.
With a strong foundation in the Gonstead system, I prioritize specificity and precision in my approach to care. I have spent years refining my skills in this advanced method, ensuring each adjustment is tailored to the individual for the best possible outcomes. I take great pride in helping patients of all ages—from infants to athletes to seniors—experience relief, improved function, and long-term wellness through chiropractic care.
Chiropractic runs in my blood, as my father and sister also serve their own communities as chiropractors. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Taylor, and our three energetic children—Kallen, Weston, and Baylee. Our home is always lively and full of fun! I also love being active outdoors, whether it’s jogging, hiking, or walking our two dogs, Beau and Duke. As a dedicated sports fan—especially baseball, basketball, and football—I stay involved in my kids' activities and am proud to coach my son’s baseball team each spring and summer.

Dr. Brenton Hicks, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Brenton Hicks is a dedicated and experienced chiropractor committed to helping individuals and families achieve optimal health through natural chiropractic care. Originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, he began his healthcare journey at Arkansas State University before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University - Kansas City in 2021.
With a strong foundation in the Gonstead system, Dr. Brenton spent the early years of his career practicing in Kansas City, refining his expertise in structural correction and patient-centered care. His passion for helping people regain their health led him to Marion, Iowa, where he and his wife, Amanda, along with their daughter, Aspyn, and their twins, Mylo and Ivy, embraced a new community and a fresh opportunity to serve. Their family wouldn’t be complete without their loyal American Bully, Phoebe.
Since joining Revive Family Chiropractic, Dr. Brenton has become an integral part of the team, helping patients of all ages restore function, alleviate pain, and experience lasting wellness. He takes pride in providing precise, individualized care, always striving to empower his patients with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive.
Beyond the office, Dr. Brenton enjoys drag racing, exploring mountain trails, and making lasting memories with his growing family. He is deeply grateful for the blessings in his life and the opportunity to serve the Marion community, and he looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of his patients.
